This is the brainchild of Joanna Monteith, founder of Consult.  As a consultant she was always customising MYOB and Quickbook templates and thought it would be great to share these with other consultants and make available a catalogue for new clients to choose from.  When Xero came along with a nicer standard design she put the idea on the backburner thinking it would no longer be needed.  However, it proved to be the opposite with all the "bigger" programs having the ability to import docx files and businesses/consultants wanting to push the software to it's limits.
Some of the smaller web based software has inbuilt templates, but these prove to be restrictive and the trend is towards being able to customise.

Established in 2019

Continuing on from this idea and with the ever expanding list of "add ons" becoming available it was evident it was time to get these templates out there and to pool and make available the thousands of templates created by other accountants, bookkeepers and consultants.  And thus Customizedt was born.

Our Goal

Our goal is to stop our community from constantly "reinventing the wheel" by spending hours creating templates that already exist.  We want to see the authors that have put so much time into developing templates rewarded (we know you didn't charge your clients the full time it took you to create) and we want to make available to the end user a full range of templates and themes to choose from.  Lastly, we want to push the software to it's limit by manipulating the outputs.
